This auction is for one glass build plate upgrade to replace the stock plastic build plate.
Why would you print on printed adapters that induce inaccuracy?
Our plate has the same snap in features as the stock plate!
We all know how warped the stock plate is and frustrating it can be to get a good print off of it.
So here it is, our glass build plate with the correct notches built in!
No need to modify your machine as this snaps right in! It also weighs less than the heavy 3/8 glass plates.
This build plate will improve the quality and consistency of your Makerbot by prints!
Want to use one of the latest release ideas like 3M blue painters tape,hair spray, Kapton tape, ABS “juice” this plate will support them all.
Makerbot recommends 3M blue painters tape and the 3"works great and you can use the same tape over and over again.
Look at the other “upgrade” build plates out there and they’re described with the words “almost, nearly the same, should not warp, requires mods, printed adapter, fits snugly (until the tabs break) or has glued on parts.
