Hassi El Biod 002 is a completely unique Ungrouped Pallasite, likely from a completely unique parent body!
This 14.7g end cut is one you won’t want to miss having in your personal collection of highly desirable meteorites. It is professionally sliced, etched and polished! This chunk of an extremely rare pallasite will showcase all of the beautiful details, including blood-orange olivine crystals and a beautiful etch. Best part - its the end piece! Not easy to come by. You get to see both sides, interior and exterior of this mesmerizing pallasite. This is directly from my personal collection and is the nicest pallasite I’ve ever personally owned. It will come with an acrylic case with white padding.
From the metbul: This is a unique pallasite type both in terms of olivine composition and oxygen isotopes. Along with Milton, this meteorite is the only other ungrouped that is not a pyroxene pallasite, however Milton and this meteorite are not paired and do not have olivine compositions and oxygen isotopes that are similar.
