AMS 3/4” 20 to 1 AMS Fluoropolymer Hi-Temp ExtruderItem #1:
Frame Mounted Control Panel Housing the Following:
QTY (3) HEAT/COOL barrel zones, QTY (3) HEAT/ONLY die zones, including
solid state relays, circuit breaker protection and associated wiring and thermocouples,
digital auto tune temperature controllers – High temp ceramic knuckleband heaters
850 F
Motor STOP/START station, with screw RPM display, motor amp display and ten
turn potentiometer.
3 HP AC Vector Motor Control
3 HP AC Vector Duty Motor.
230V / 1ph / 60Hz – Single Phase 40 amps (discuss with Brandon, 40 amps is “worst
case” full load scenario. Machine will consume approx half under normal operating
conditions)
Digital melt pressure display
Die heater receptacle
Mechanical Specifications and Hardware include the Following:
1. New 24 to 1 Screw with special designed feed by Johnson , low compression
2. New Bimetallic barrel with 777 liner Wexco, qty 3 ports at end of barrel
3. Stainless steel hopper
4. Gearbox for max screw speed of approx 87 RPM (Others avail)
5. Rupture Disc
6. Frame Mounted NEMA 12 Control Panel
7. Stainless Steel feed section, jacketed for water cooling
8. Stainless steel barrel cover for hi temperature operation, ceramic insulation
9. Oversized thrust bearing for long life operation
Item #2:
New Stainless Steel Filament Die
1. Stainless Steel Filament Die
2. Includes qty (4) SS tips to allow various diameter orifices
3. New heaters & thermocouples
4. Includes adaptor and will fully integrate with item #1
5. Includes tool to change out die tip
Item #3:
Dual Powder Feed System from Brabender ¾” Extruder
1. Dual powder feeder, independently controlled
2. Dual AC ½ HP Motors and AC Motor Controls
3. Each AC motor is coupled to 60:1 gearbox
4. Unit will be removed and integrated onto Item #1 of this quote
5. Round hopper shown in pictures will be replaced with rectangular hopper constructed
out of stainless steel to allow dual powder feed to be properly integrated above ¾”
Extruder
6. All of the above components for item #3 are in like new condition
7. New Frame work constructed out of steel or stainless steel for mounting purposes
8. This will require 1-2 weeks for completion. Any steel components will be painted tan
to match machine.
