History
: A team searching for gold with metal detectors near the village of Quitovac, Mexico, found five stones buried at shallow depth. All stones were subsequently acquired by Jason Phillips.
Physical characteristics
: The stones (total weight 9112 g) are an overall reddish-brown color. Partial coatings that may represent weathered fusion crust are present on some of them, and interiors exhibit some fresh metal.
